2006/8/3 · Forged pistons carry it away into the lower end of the piston very quickly. Hypers "bottle it up" in the top of the piston. Once you have too much heat in the top of the piston bad things happen, including top ring and ringland damage (the #1 cause of hypereutectic piston failure). I have used MANY sets of KB pistons.
